"Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" host Robin Leach recently passed on to the giant Champagne bucket in the sky. Page Kris Jenner, because we think we might have a replacement for a potential reboot!
Cosmetics mogul Kylie Jenner gladly stepped into the breach of documenting over-the-top opulence-regaling us regular folks with tales of her own home.
Over the Labor Day weekend, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star lit up the web with a tour of her deluxe home in L.A.'s Hidden Hills neighborhood.
Here are some of the nuggets we gleaned from the 21-year-old's social media sharing.
1. Holed up in Hidden Hills?
It's more like Fort Knox. If you think you can casually skip on over to Kylie's pad to spill a little tea with your new BFF, think again. The makeup mogul is now the wealthiest Kardashian of them all, with an estimated net worth of $900 million. So, naturally Kylie occupies a gated estate. But even if you're lucky enough to get past the giant gates, there's another layer of security with a guard posted at the entry.
If you are invited over, don't worry about squeezing your jalopy into a tiny garage. There's plentiful parking for her multiple cars, as well as space for guests.
2. Two swimming pools
The near billionaire has not one, but two swimming holes. One resort-style pool comes with an attached spa and is surrounded by lounge chairs.
Next to the large pool appears to be a lap pool. Or perhaps it's just there to accommodate the spillover from the pool parties we're sure she's throwing.
If you don't want to dip your toe in the water, consider hitting the sport court for a tennis match or to show off your hoops skills.
The backyard of this upscale property is beautiful, with a grassy lawn, a cabana, and an abundance of tall, manicured hedges to provide privacy for the fenced-in yard. Kylie and her girlfriends can work on maintaining their precious tan without being hounded by paparazzi.
3. Mediterranean style
We sometimes get a peek of the home from the model's Instagram posts, such as her huge walk-in closet and huge, white bathroom.
However, her recent video tour provides a holistic view of the spectacular spread. You'll spot details like an imposing stone exterior, wrought-iron railings, and a landscaped, flower-filled property with a brick path leading up to the house.
The serene space looks like quite a respite from the on-camera lifestyle, which boasts around 114 million Instagram followers.
4. Beautiful balconies
We get a quick glimpse of what looks to be the master bedroom from the private-and huge-balcony with views out to the lawn and pools. There also seems like there might be a roof deck above the master suite, since there's a railing on the next floor as well. Maybe we'll get a view of it on the next tour?
5. Smart home living
When you're nearly a billionaire, a reality TV star, and a businesswoman, should you be expected to raise and lower your window shades with your own two hands?! Of course not. That's why Kylie also shows off her automatic window shades, perfect for when she's in need of beauty sleep.
